Issue Position

Education ensures a better quality of life for everyone. Unfortunately, far too many students from the 47th Assembly District are not graduating. As a result, these young people are unable to enter the workforce. The only way that we can create and sustain economic growth is by ensuring that our students are successfully completing their education. We need to identify and help struggling students by implementing programs that will lead to their success. Through government policy, Brown's goal is to improve college matriculation rates to ensure our students are prepared for both higher education and the workforce.
